GIFTWARE & STATIONARY
Kids-Did-It! Properties represents a growing collection of more than 280 cheerful and uplifting illustrations created by young children, ages 3 to 14. Most were created under the guidance of San Diego artist, art director and teacher, Michelle Abrams. "The artwork is fresh, fun, inspirational, and surprisingly sophisticated," says Glenn Abrams, President of Kids-Did-It! Properties. "It's a cohesive collection with a broad consumer appeal. Our designs can easily be adapted for reproduction as a complete product line on a variety of materials, including paper goods, textiles, clothing, household and soft goods, melamine, plush toys and giftware."
Each young artist earns a royalty for the licensed reproduction of his or her work. To date, more than 42 children have been published in a variety of product categories, garnering licensees more than $3.28 million in retail sales. Again last year, retailer Dollar Tree Stores offered holiday gift bags featuring the designs. "Discussions are in the works with gift bag manufacturer PAK2000 and Dollar Tree Stores regarding an additional 2004 Kids-Did-It! Designs® holiday line," says Abrams. The company also seeks licenses in the giftware, stationary, print and poster categories, among others.
